

Meet the Team
Our instructors and staff members are a team of highly qualified educators, choreographers, local artists, directors, and theatre specialists. Each has undergone comprehensive training in safety, policies, and procedures by Rankin Performing Arts, and all have passed thorough background checks. Committed to being exemplary role models, our staff is dedicated to enriching the lives of RPA students through the performing arts.

Owner/Director of Education
Leigh Ramsey
Leigh Ramsey first began teaching children’s theatre at the Arts Center in Stuttgart, AR the summer after her Freshman year of college. From that point on, she was hooked on teaching children’s theatre! Leigh has a degree in Mass Communications from Henderson State University, where she focused on broadcast and print journalism, and minored in theatre.
After college graduation, Leigh worked for Sudbury Broadcasting as a disc jockey and salesperson. Leigh chose to be a stay-at-home mom as soon as she began having her five children, and eventually decided to homeschool them. She is married to David Ramsey. They are the proud parents of Will, Garrett, Ben, Daleigh and Eli. Leigh serves on the worship team at Word of Life Church's Lakeland campus.

Throughout her years of being a homeschool mom, Leigh has stayed involved in children’s theatre. She directed preschool music, art and theatre for a mother’s day out program in Lake Charles, LA, and served for six years as the director of the K-4th grade program for a local children's theatre company. She has written and directed several one acts and has directed over 50 full-length children’s shows and one acts. Her favorite part of this job is encouraging and watching each individual child develop confidence and learn to trust their own unique ideas as they grow as a performer. Leigh is so excited to be a part of Rankin Performing Arts and cannot wait to see what God has planned for this amazing program!

Music Director
Luke Parker
Luke Parker is a music student at Mississippi College. After spending many years performing in show choir and theatre productions and being a student at Rankin Performing Arts, he decided to dip his toe into the realm of teaching In his future, Luke sees himself training young worship leaders to bring glory to God . He has already started practicing this skill in his role as a teacher with Magnify, RPA's worship leader training program. Luke has recently brought what he has learned in school and taken the role of Music Director for Rankin Performing Arts.

Manager/Choreographer/Social Media Director
Daleigh Ramsey
Daleigh Ramsey is the Manager, Social Media Director, and Choreographer at Rankin Performing Arts. Daleigh has been performing for over 17 years, six of those years as a student at RPA. Daleigh also is a member of the worship team at Pinelake students and one of the leaders of Magnify, RPA‘s worship leader training program. She has loved transitioning from student to teacher and passing her love for the arts to the next generation. She is proud to continue growing and teaching at RPA.

Morgan Stallings
Morgan Stallings, Teaching Assistant at RPA, loves singing, dancing, and helping young children learn. She has been a student at Rankin Performing Arts since 2021, where she has developed a deep appreciation for the musical theatre. Morgan is excited to pass on her love of theatre to the next generation as a teacher’s assistant.

Ashlyn Malone
My name is Ashlyn Malone, and I have been a part of RPA since 2019 as a student and now as a teaching assistant. I have been performing in dance and cheer since I was a little girl. Throughout my years at RPA, the teachers and staff have meant so much to me and have truly supported my growth as a performer. They helped cultivate my love for theater, and that is exactly what I hope to pass on to these students.
